The Siberian Ice Marathon (actually a half marathon) is a unique race in snow-covered Siberia, a celebration of the rich cultural traditions of Siberians as they celebrate a Russian Orthodox Christmas.

Siberian Ice Marathon Route
The race passes through the historical centre of Omsk and along the embankment of the Irtysh River. Participants will be given a warm cap to wear and it will be needed - the Siberian winter reaching temperatures as low as 39 degrees below zero.
