The Ljubljana Marathon is organised by the Ljubljana City Council. It was first run in 1996. There is also a half marathon option.

Ljubljana Marathon Route
The race starts and finishes at Slovenska cesta in the centre of the city. The route is flat and follows a circular course, running around the Mostec hill and taking in some of the best sites of this easy-going city.

For those not wanting to run the full marathon, runners can attempt the 21km (13 miles) half marathon, the 10k or the fun run.

* Entry Fee : € 50 (until 31 Dec), € 55 (until 30 Mar), € 60 (until 31 May), € 65 (until 23 Sep), € 70 (until 30 Sep)
* Registration Deadline : 30 September
