The Istanbul Marathon, first run in 1979, is highly regarded for its fantastic scenery and superb organisation.

Istanbul Marathon Route
The Istanbul Eurasia Marathon is the only transcontinental marathon starting in Asia and crossing the Bosphorus to the European side of the city. Runners start next to the Bosphorus Bridge, cross over the bridge and finish in front of the Sultanahmet Mosque.

* Entry Fee : € 60 (until 31 Dec), € 80 (until 31 May), € 100 (until 31 Jul), € 120 (until 14 Oct)
* Registration Deadline : 14 October
* Charity Places : Runners are advised to contact their chosen charity.
