The Rome Marathon is a popular European marathons. A tough race in a beautiful historical city.
Rome Marathon Route
The Rome Marathon starts at on the Via dei Fori Imperiali in the shadow of the Coliseum. proceeds through the city passing such
famous landmarks as the Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Saint Peter's and Piazza Venezia. Molto bello!
Despite Rome being the 'City of Seven Hills' the race is very flat. This gives ruuners the chance of a PB. However with cobblestones
en route some participants will struggle. For all those who make it to the end they will end the race close to the start, back at the
Coliseum.
