The Siberian International Marathon is one of the most popular running events in Russia, attracting entries from all over the country and around the world. It was first held in Omsk in 1990.

Siberian International Marathon Route
The AIMS-certified course makes two loops on mainly flat, paved, traffic-free streets. The race starts and finishes at Cathedral Square in the centre of Omsk. The race runs along the central streets and embankments of the Irtysh River.

Prospective runners should take note that, although it is Siberia, temperatures can reach up to 30-40oC.
