The inaugural Connemara International Marathon in 2001 had 70 runners. Now this amazingly scenic race has room for 3,200 runners. Other races taking place on the same day are the Connemara Ultra Marathon and Connemara Half Marathon.

Connemara Marathon Route
The Connemara Marathon is known for its stunning scenery, with a rugged lanscape taking runners past mountains and glacial lakes. Thge route is very hilly and will tire even the best runners, but the beautiful surroundings and friendly crowds are enough to win over any runner.

* Charity Places : Runners are advised to contact their chosen charity
* Other Information : Runners will be expected to finish within 5:00 hours.
