The New York City Marathon is a popular and iconic event, rated alongside the best marathons such as Boston and London. For many marathon runners it is a must-do race. With over 30,000 participants, 2 million cheering New Yorkers and amazing scenery the atmosphere is always electric and will be memorable for anyone taking part.

New York Marathon Route
Starting in Staten Island, runners cross the Verazono-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn. From there, they follow a route through many of New York's neighbourhoods, passing many well known New York landmarks such as Queensboro Bridge and Central Park before reaching the finish line to the sound of cheering crowds outside Tavern on the Green.
