Polar Circle Marathon

The Polar Circle Marathon has an atmosphere completely different to that most other races, with stunning arctic scenery. Participants will have to sign up to a 5-day package including accommodation. An optional 4-day extension is available for runners wanting to see more of the sights of Greenland.

Polar Circle Marathon Route
The race follows a track laid out on the ice cap. Along the way water stations posted at regular intervals to keep runners refreshed. The race ends at the parking area between Polar Lodge and Hotel Kangerlussuaq, the finish line being located to give runners easy access to their rooms and a hot shower.

Polar Circle Marathon Entry
* UK Entrants : 270 Euro + Hotel fees (Approx. 1,500 - 2,000 Euro)
* European Entrants : 270 Euro + Hotel fees (Approx. 1,400 - 1,700 Euro)
* US Entrants : : 270 Euro + Hotel fees (Approx. 1,500 - 1,800 Euro)
* Charity Places : Runners are advised to contact their chosen charity
* Cut-off Time : Runners will be expected to finish within 7:00 hours.
