Described as the "attraction on the go", the Vienna City Marathon takes runners past a wealth of charming and spectacular sites.

Vienna Marathon Route
The Vienna City Marathon is rich in famous sites. After starting from the United Nations Building in the new part of the town, the course takes them over the Reichsbrucke bridge which traverses the famous Danube river. Runners then pass into the centre of the city continuing on a 42 km journey around one of Europe most scenic capitals. Sites they will see on the way include City Park, Vienna State Opera, the Green Market, Vienna Theatre, Museum of Technology, Austria's Parliament building, Votiv Church, Lusthaus, and various others before reaching Heldenplatz, site of the finish line.

* Registration: EUR 55 (first 2,000 applicants), EUR 75 (applicants 2,001-7,500), EUR 95 (applicants 7,501-9,000)
* Charity Places : Runners are advised to contact their chosen charity
