The Run Cumbria Solway Marathon is organised by Run Nation. There is also a Solway Half Marathon.

Solway Marathon Route
Runners follow a flat and fast route on the country roads through North West Cumbria. Starting and finishing in Anthorn, the route involves 2 loops of country lanes through Bowness-on-Solway, returning to Anthorn via the coastal roads.
