Shakespeare Marathon

The Rotary Shakespeare Marathon is a 2-lap, undulating race starting and finishing in Stratford -upon-Avon and traversing the surrounding countryside. Crowds have been reported to be subdued in thier support, but reports suggest that the race is well organised and a hit with runners.

Shakespeare Marathon Route
Runners line up to start in Waterside, next to the Theatre car park. The pass out of the town and into the suurounding countryside. The course is predominantly flat, consisting of running on roads and bound grit. When the runners have completed the required two laps they will finish back in the town, at the recreation gound.
