Great British Bake Run Marathon

The Great British Bake Run is a cake-themed running event. As well as a marathon, runners have options to run 5K, 10K, a half marathon or an ultramarathon. There will also be a baking competition with prizes for best tasting cake, best looking cake, best effort cake. The cake will be provided to runners during the race.

Great British Bake Run Route
For up to 7 hours, runners follow a multi-lap course alongside the River Thames in Staines. Each lap is 4.37 miles, or 7 km, predominantly on tarmac footpaths, with some grassy sections. 6 laps are required to run the marathon distance.
