The Remembrance Day Marathon is run in Walton-on-Thames, raising funds for vital military charities. A notable part of the event is a 'race freeze' when all runners stop running at 11:00, for 2 minutes silence, before continuing their race at 11:02. There is also a Remembrance Day Half Marathon.

Remembrance Day Marathon Route
Runners follow a trail course along the Thames riverside towpath. There will be 4 out and back laps along a flat and fast route.
