The North Devon Marathon is organised to raise money for the North Devon Hospice. There is also a North Devon Half Marathon.

North Devon Marathon Route
The route is described as demanding yet beautiful. Runners start and finish at the Meadow Playing Fields, following two laps of a figure-of-eight course.
