The first Milton Keynes Marathon was held in April 2012. It is notable for being very green and scenic while inside the city limits.

Milton Keynes Marathon Route
The course is undulating, but without any significant inclines, so offers a good opportunity for a PB.

The race starts from the StadiumMK, home of the MK Dons. The route follows a single lap along closed roads and cycle paths, passing by and through scenic lakes, woodlands and open green areas. Runners finishes back at the 22,500 seater StadiumMK, providing runners with an amazing atmosphere as the crowd cheers them over the finish line.
