The first Manchester Marathon took place in 1908. It was back in 2012 after a 10 year absence and has re-established itself as one of the UK's most popular marathons.

Manchester Marathon Route
The race follows a loop starting and finishing at Old Trafford. It is a flat course, offering the chance for achieving a good time and the possibility of a PB.

* Registration Deadline : When the race is full.
* Charity Places : Runners are invited to run for charity parters including Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer's Society.
