The Liverbird New Years Day Marathon is organised by GB Ultras. It is part of a 2-day event over New Years Eve and New Years Eve, with runners able to choose from marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K races

Liverbird New Years Day Marathon Route
Marathon runners follow course alongside the River Mersey for 3 miles before returning to the start point. This lap is then repeating three more times.
