The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon was first run in 2023. It was established in support of local rugby player, Rob Burrow, and to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Appeal.

Leeds Marathon Route
Runners follow a one-lap course, starting and finishing at Headingley Stadium. The route takes runners through Headingley and out to nearby towns, including Bramhope an Otley. Run on closed roads, the terrain is predominanty flat-to-undulating, but does have a few hilly sections.
