Granny's Bay Challenge Marathon

The Granny's Bay Challenge Marathon is a 6-hour timed event along the Ribble estuary. Within this time runners can opt to run a marathon or half marathon distance.

Granny's Bay Challenge Marathon Route
Runners follow a flat, multi-lap course. Starting at the Fylde Spitfire Memorial, participants run along the coastal path passing Fairhaven lake and Granny's Bay, leading onto Lytham green. Here they will enjoy impressive views of Lytham windmill, as well as views across the estuary, towards Southport and North Wales. At the end of Lytham green, runners will then turn round, returning to the Spitfire Memorial. Marathon runners will complete 5 laps.
