The Cornish Marathon was first run in 2003 and is organised by the East Cornwall Harriers.

Cornish Marathon Route
The race follows a hilly route starting from Millennium House in Pensilva. It has been described by some as the toughest marathon in the UK.

Runners are directed through the Cornish countryside, passing many scenic locations and sites. These include the Draynes Valley, Bodmin Moor and Fowey Valley.
