The Callanish Stones Marathon was run in 2014. It was arguably one of the most scenic marathons in the UK. Unfortunately, we understand that it was a one-off event, so we do not foresee this race being repeated.

Callanish Stones Marathon Route
Runners start from near the Standing Stones. They head off through the village of Breasclete, passing the Broch, towards the Blackhouse village at Gearrannan in Carloway. They then return along the Pentland Road, finishing at Callanish Standing Stone circle.
