The Blencathra Marathon is a fell event suitable for experienced fell and trail runners, and fell walkers.

Blencathra Marathon Route
Runners follow a hilly course across 5 Wainwright Summits. Elevation is 6,000 feet (1,828 m).

Starting and finishing in Caldbeck the route leads participants around a circular marathon route incorporating Bowscale, Blencathra, Mungrisdale Common, Knott and High Pike, before returning to Caldbeck,
