The Blackpool Marathon was first run in 2004. After initial complaints about a lack race refreshments the organisers have created what has since become a popular and permanent annual fixture in the running calendar.

Blackpool Marathon Route
The route is a flat, fast course taking runners past the sights of the Blackpool seafront, Golden Mile, St Annes and Lytham. It is very popular with runners looking to achieve a PB.
