The BigXmas Marathon is Christmas-themed trail race at Sale Water Park. There is also a BigXmas Half Marathon and an 11km race.

BigXmas Marathon Route
Starting and finishing at Sale Water Park, runners follow a trail course through Chorlton Water Park and alongside the River Mersey, before following the Trans Pennine Trail all the way to Little Bollington, returning via the Bridgewater Canal.
