The Route
The Anglesey marathon is highly rated. It's popularity has grown in recent years, so much so that it
was shown on TV last year and is now one of the largest marathons in Europe.
The race is a single-lap, anti-clockwise route starting and finishing at the Anglesey Showground, near Gwalchmai.
Runners pass through the Anglesey village of Gwalchmai, then along the A5025 towards Llanfaelog, Aberffraw, Hermon, Malltraeth,
Newborough, Llangaffo, Pentre Berw and Rhostrehwfa.
