First run in 2026, the Aberdeen Marathon has become an annual fixture. It is run alongside the Aberdeen Half Marathon and a 5K race.

Aberdeen Marathon Route
Starting and finishing in the centre of Aberdeen, near Marischal College, runners follow an urban course around the city. The route passes many local landmarks, including the River Dee, Aberdeen Beach, the 900 year-old Port of Aberdeen, and the University of Aberdeen.
