The Sydney Marathon is a popular marathon, showing off many of the city's interesting local sites. There is also a Sydney Half Marathon, 10K and 3.5K family event.

Sydney Marathon Route
Runners follow an urban point-to-point course, starting at Bradfield Park, Milsons Point and finishing in the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. En route runners pass many of Sydney's iconic landmarks including Sydney Harbour Bridge, Centennial Park and the Botanical Gardens.

* AUS / NZ Residents : $130 (until 2 Oct), $170 (until 31 Jul), $190 (until 31 Aug), $195 (until 14 Sep)
* Other Runners : $165 (until 2 Oct), $210 (until 31 Jul), $225 (until 31 Aug), $230 (until 14 Sep)
* Registration Deadline : 14 September
