The Spice Coast Marathon is widely praised, being considered as one of the most beautiful marathons. There is also a Spice Coast Marathon and a fun run.

Spice Coast Marathon Route
The races follows a course that allows runners to experience "the bliss of the sights, sounds and oh! even the smells of the headquarters of the ancient spice trade"

Starting and finishing at the GCDA ground, Marine Drive, runners follow a route "winding through the streets of old Kochi and meandering through all the historical locations of the Muziris".
