The Airtel Hyderabad Marathon, often abbreviated to AHM, first ran in 2011. It is one of India's largest marathons, and is part of an event also including a half marathon, 10K and 5K.

Hyderabad Marathon Route
Runners follow a point-to-point tarmac course through Hyderabad, from its historical centre to its modern west end.

Starting near the scenic Hussain Sagar Lake, runners are taken past many impressive and picturesque sites, including the official residence of the Chief Minister of Telangana, Banjara Hills, the KBR Park and the beautiful shaded campus of the University of Hyderabad, before finishing in the GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli.
