The Dunedin Marathon is a popular race based in New Zealand's South Island. It is part of a running event also including a half marathon, 10K and 5K.

Dunedin Marathon Route
The race starts from the entrance of the Portobello Recreation Reserve. From there, runners follow a point-to-point course, with an initial out-and-back section, finishing in Dundedin. Starting with some gentle inclines, the second half of the race race is flat and fast, offering the chance of a good finish time.
