The Dead Sea Marathon takes runners to the lowest point on Earth, next to the Dead Sea. It is a popular race attracting runners from many different countries.

Dead Sea Marathon Route
The race follows a course made up of long stretches of unpaved dirt road with potholes, with a flat paved section towards the finish line. Despite the potholes, it has been described as flat and fast, offering runners a good chance of a PB. There is minimal elevation gain with much of the route being completely flat.
