The Chiang Mai Marathon is considered one of the top marathons in Thailand. Others races on the same day are the Chiang Mai Half Marathon and Mini Marathon (10K).

Chiang Mai Marathon Route
The start/finish line is located at the Tha Pae Gate, one of Chiang Mai's favourite landmarks. Runners are then directed along Suthep Road along down Canal Road. Near the Ratchaphruek Flora Festival the race then turns and heads back towards the centre of town passing the Chiang Mai Night Safari.
