The Cape Town Marathon was first run in 2007. There is also a 10K race and a 5K.

Runners follow a one lap route starting and finishing at Cape Town Stadium.

* South African residents : R1,700 and R2,100
* International athletes : R4,370 to R4,600 ($265 to $290)
* Ballot Entry : 10 June to 24 June (Closed)
