The Antarctic Ice Marathon, known as the World's Southernmost Marathon, is a unique opportunity to run a marathon in one of the world's greatest wildernesses. There is also a half marathon option.

Antarctic Ice Marathon Route
Runners start from Union Glacier, 80 Degrees South, at the foot of the Ellsworth Mountains. They follow a pre-prepared route on snow and ice with a wind chill factor of -20oC. Participants need to be prepared for winds of 10 to 20 knots.
