Polar Circle Marathon - April Edition

The Polar Circle Marathon has an atmosphere completely different to that most other races, with stunning arctic scenery. Participants will have to sign up to a 5-day package including accommodation. An optional 5-day extension is available for runners wanting to see more of the sights of Greenland. There is also a half marathon option.

Polar Circle Marathon Route
The race follows a track laid out on the ice cap. Along the way water stations posted at regular intervals to keep runners refreshed. The race ends at the parking area between Polar Lodge and Hotel Kangerlussuaq, the finish line being located to give runners easy access to their rooms and a hot shower.
