Seaford Marathon

31 Aug 2008

Start Time : 10:00am
Number of Places : Unlimited (Relay and Full Marathon)

Having started only last year, this is the second running of the Seaford Marathon.

The Route
The vast majority of the race is run on gravel tracks and well-drained chalk paths. The start line is on Cradle Hill Road outside Seaford Fire Station. Ruuners then make there way across fields, a golf course and country roads and paths to Littlington. The route then heads through quiet roads, through Alfriston towards Firle Bostal road. Next more coutryside. Runners head cross-couontry to Beddingham Hill climbing and descending hills until reaching Bo Peep. From there the last quarter of the race takes runners via local fields and country roads, back across the golf course and into Seaford, finishing where the race started outside the fire station.
